Nicolas GermondCountry Director and CEO (Canada)
Nicolas Germond is appointed as the Country Director and Chief Executive Officer for Canada as of May 2025. Nicolas began his career with Veolia Group's Waste division in 1998, serving as a Group Financial Controller for Western France. Four years later, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for the Water Business in Africa, the Middle East, and India, where he played a key role in developing and launching major contracts, particularly in Morocco and the GCC.
In 2012, Nicolas was named PMO for the oversight of the Group's Special Non-Core Business units. By 2014, he had taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Veolia subsidiary Siram in Italy, focusing primarily on energy operations. In 2018, he became the Chief Executive Officer for Belux, where he successfully expanded the business and led the merger with Suez activities within this BU.
Throughout his 27-year tenure at Veolia Group, Nicolas has demonstrated a strong commitment to Veolia's mission of resourcing the world. He firmly believes in the importance of teamwork and sharing experiences for a company's success, consistently advocating for collective management in his previous roles.
Nicolas holds degrees in Finance from the University of Paris Dauphine and in Law from the University of Assas. He also serves as the President of the Association des Actionnaires Salariés de Veolia Environnement from 2020.

Patrick BeaugerVice President of Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing
Patrick is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience driving growth and innovation across diverse industries. He has a proven track record of success working in both large corporations and SMEs.
Patrick serves as Vice President of Strategy, Business Development, and Marketing at Veolia. He leads a dynamic team responsible for promoting and selling Veolia's services to industrial and municipal clients, and promoting the Veolia brand.
Prior to this, Patrick held leadership roles at established companies and entrepreneurial ventures operating in metals and mining, aerospace and transportation.
Patrick holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a Master of Laws (LLM), and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degrees from the Université de Montréal.

Renaud BuclonTechnical & Performance Director, Canada
Renaud Buclon has been actively involved in waste and water management since 2003. He spent the first 15 years of his career commissioning and operating large wastewater treatment plants, sludge drying, incineration units and solid waste facilities on the 5 continents.
Renaud joined Veolia North America after many years with Degrémont and currently leads the Technical, Performance and Innovation teams of Veolia in Canada, supporting all Canadian activities with a team of highly competent and operational engineers.
He graduated from the High Industrial Engineering School of Lille, France.

Olivier CaumartinVice President, Major Projects
Olivier Caumartin is the VP Major Projects for Veolia Canada. With more than 35 years experience in major projects management, he is specifically in charge of Veolia’s Montreal projects.
Olivier joined Veolia in 2002, and after several assignments, as Senior Project Manager, VP Operations, Country Manager and Area Manager, that brought him to live on all continents and work in more than 50 countries, he joined Veolia North America in Canada end 2022.
Olivier graduated as a Civil Engineer from the ESTP Paris and, later, obtained a Master of Business Unit Management from HEC Paris.

Marco Fontana-GiustiVice President, Municipal Services
Mr. Marco Fontana-Giusti is a distinguished and dedicated leader with over 30 years of experience at Veolia, having held a variety of key operational and support roles across Europe, Australia, and Canada. As Vice President of Municipal Water & Waste, he is responsible for overseeing all municipal operations and maintenance (O&M) projects, driving operational excellence and ensuring client satisfaction. Known for his outstanding leadership and relationship-building skills, Mr. Fontana-Giusti has established a loyal network of clients and stakeholders, reinforcing Veolia’s reputation in the municipal services sector.
His extensive expertise encompasses municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and waste operations, positioning him as a vital contributor to large-scale infrastructure projects. His impressive track record of success reflects his ability to deliver strategic solutions across diverse markets.
From April 2017 until the merger with Veolia, Mr. Fontana-Giusti led SUEZ’s Canadian operations.
With his broad expertise and visionary leadership, Marco Fontana-Giusti continues to drive innovation and progress in municipal services worldwide.

Nathalie HennebelleVice-President, Chief Information Officer
Nathalie Hennebelle serves as Vice-President, Chief Information Officer at Veolia Canada. With over 14 years of experience in technology, Nathalie leads the digital transformation strategy in Canada. Her expertise spans multiple industries, including metal recycling, metal alloys manufacturing, and environmental services.
Nathalie joined Veolia Canada in 2019. Passionate about lean management, innovation, and technology, Nathalie holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed programs in innovation and technology through MIT Professional Education.
A member of the Order of Engineers of Québec, Nathalie graduated from the Hautes Études d'Ingénieurs school in France. Her diverse background and commitment to innovation drive Veolia Canada's technological advancements in the environmental services sector.

Dave OsborneVice President Environmental Services
Dave Osborne serves as Vice President Environmental Services (VNA) operations in Canada, responsible for all of Canada’s industrial activities, including hazardous waste, Veolia Resource Solutions (VRS) and used oil. Based in Calgary,
Dave has held industry positions such as Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Partner, Dean of Energy, Regional Business Manager, General Manager, Director Strategy and Business Planning Global Sales, Operations Manager, Corporate Service, IT, Manufacturing, in both public and private companies such as CEDA, C-Suite Results, Weatherford, Foremost Industries LP, Haworth, Motorola and Mobile Data International.
A passionate community volunteer interested in mentoring the next generation of leaders. Community held positions Past President Ronald McDonald House Southern, Mentor Haskayne School of Business MBA Program, Ambassador Strathcona County Economic Development Council, Executive Swim Alberta Northern Region, Mentor Futurpreneur Canada, Board Member CornerBend (Equipping first responders with death notification training and community members to be effective grief companions.)

Juliette PouzetVice President, Chief Finance and Procurement Officer, Canada
Juliette Pouzet serves as the Vice-President, Chief Finance and Procurement Officer, Canada for Veolia North America since 2023.
Passionate about reconciling ecology and economy, Juliette joined the Veolia Group in 2009. She brings 15 years of experience in various positions in the environmental services industry, from Group strategy to risk management and internal audits. Prior to joining the Veolia Group, Juliette worked at KPMG as a financial auditor.
Juliette holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Emlyon Business School. She also completed Master's studies at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki and holds a certificate in carbon footprint assessment.

Talal Al SaiedEnvironment Health and Safety Director
Talal Al Saied is the Environment Health and Safety Director for Veolia Canada. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Talal leads the Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Department supporting the Industrial, Municipal and Commercial Business Lines in Canada.
Talal joined Veolia Canada in 2009 holding various operational and technical roles.
He graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry.

Carine TazaVice-President, Legal, Corporate & Canada
Carine Taza is the Vice-President, Legal, Corporate & Canada for Veolia North America. Carine initially joined the Veolia group with Veolia Water Technologies Canada Inc. where Carine held the position of Associate General Counsel (Canada) for 11 years.
Prior to joining the Veolia Group, Carine worked at a national Canadian law-firm, specializing in commercial law with an emphasis on construction and infrastructure.
Carine holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal as well as a Juris Doctor from Dalhousie University. She has also conducted legal studies at Université Panthéon - Assas (Paris II).
